  apart from it being frightfuly rude and ignorant, its actualy very funny and rather pathetic.

  i really pity these poor people who's lives are ruled by fear.. across the road from where i was working today lives one of my 'very good jw friends' who no longer has anything to do with me.

  Some points.....Jim Jones started out as a more "traditional" christian pastor who, as he grew like most cults slowly turned more right-wing. He's sons soccer team was away from the compound on the day so he asked them to kill themselves...they refused. Followers at the Jones town house in the capital city however, slit their families throats.

  yes apparently the staff at the twin towers on 9/11 didn't notice the explosives strapped to all the beams on each floor......of course a plane fully loaded with jet fuel going so fast it nearly flew through the building {blew out the otherside} would not be enough to cause a collapse.

  the building were glowing red!

  people jumped due to the heat and smoke.

  Some idiots expected the buildings to 1. Snap in half or 2. Fall like a couple of dominos taking out 5 city blocks or 3. Remain standing after the {friggin huge} fire burnt itself out. WTC 7 had a HUGE chunk torn out of it's side and was ON FIRE on many floors. Also, MANY other building around ground zero were torn down and condemned months later due to massive damage.

  Sorry but survivor accounts and even the Jim Jones recodings show many did willing comply dying arm in arm......one of the leading members suggested they defect to the Soviet embassy instead which was rejected by the majority.

  Remember that Jehovah told Abraham to kill his son.....so he sharpened his knife and was prepared to do it!!! Twisting scriptures can do wonders.

Only three escaped. {the smart ones} One man hid under a building....another escaped into the jungle while armed guards dragged another member to get injected by force. {Some violently protested after seeing the 5 minute death, froathing at the mouth} Most went VERY willingly, kids and babies first, then parents.

  I was thinking how many Witnesses do you think would drink the "cool-aid" if the Governing body ordered it.....I know some would protest but my anionted mother would do it in a heartbeat.

  one of the things that most bothered me about the bible, is the narcasist, lunatic jehovah who orders killings of women, children, starts wars, etc....and the advent of peaceful jesus.

  some people say that jehovah was a killer to protect "his" people, but couldn't a perfect, all-knowing god have found a way better then to walk on the earth and tell abraham to kill his first born son?.

  on my spiritual journey, i now see how the earlier gods (roman, greek, pagan) are intertwined into the old testament.
